MDB Mini
The MDB Mini is the most compact MDB module in the Qibixx MDB interface production range. It provides the same standard features all of the MDB interfaces provide, namely MDB VMC (Master), MDB Peripheral and also Sniffing functions. With the small form factor and no external connectors it is ideally suited to be integrated on a customer PCB.The module is easy to integrate, the host application can connect via USB or TTL serial(3V3) interfaces. It can easily be integrated.
This devices use an ASCII based protocol (see API section) and to communicate with them, one must open a serial port by means of a standard terminal program (putty, minicom, termite...) or, if you are developing an application, use some library to do this for you. NO binary handling of data is required.
The MDB Mini can be power from the Micro USB connector or from the Communication Connector (VCC + GND). See the picture bellow.
