MDB Charge

The MDB Charge is a simple shell script that request the amount from the customer. It can run in any OS and can be used with the Pi Hat or MDB USB (all versions)

How to run the script

python rqvend.py <price> <product_id> <timeout> <serial_port>

Arguments

price - Price of the product

product_id - Product id in the product list

timeout - Time (in seconds) that the function waits for the confirmation of the vend before issuing a timeout error

serial_port - Serial port to which the device is connected. This parameter is optional. If not specified it defaults to /dev/ttyAMA0

Wiring

Please NEVER connect MDB Cables with the machine turned on, this can damage both devices
